A native San Diegan, Chantel moved to Los Angeles when she began her education at UCLA. While at UCLA, Chantel studied economics and was an active student on campus as a UCLA Cheerleader, Alpha Phi member, and President of the Silicon Beach Bruins. She is still active in the UCLA Alumni Association and can be found at many Bruin sporting events and alumni events on campus.

Graduating in the midst of an economic recession, Chantel realized that she wanted to help people not only invest, but truly plan for their financial futures. Chantel joined Northwestern Mutual in 2010 and has been a trailblazer in the meaningful work of financial planning and enjoyed building long term relationships with her clients. Chantel strives to help her clients build financial wellness and she published a book on this topic in 2018. As a prominent voice in the financial planning community, she has been featured in over 60 publications including Fox Business, Time, Reuters, Women’s Health and Forbes.

Chantel currently resides in San Diego with her husband Tom, newborn daughter Audrey, two stepchildren Thomas and Sophia, and their two schnauzers.
